What's so special about Bristol ??

Special prize for the first KES student to tell me....
Clue: it has something to do with the work you'll be starting the week after the exam is over...

Hi Sir
Is it that Bristol has been chosen as the England's first Cycling City?

I got this information from: http://www.bristol.gov.uk/ccm/portal/;jsessionid=96F83A3A766A811223F5A46A2250F706

Quick work Josh...
That is the correct answer.
Bristol is to be the first Cycling City, and a lot of money is to be put into this SUSTAINABLE form of TRANSPORT. You're going to be doing lots more on this idea next year...

Any idea on the names of the cycling TOWNS that have also been announced ?

Hi Sir,

Is Colchester and Southend-on-Sea in Essex two of the cycling towns?

I looked on http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/essex/7462992.stm

Well, I have found that York, Stoke, Blackpool, Cambridge, Chester, Colchester, Leighton Buzzard, Southend, Shrewsbury, Southport and Woking will be sharing the £100 million fund from the government-led initiative, and that Bristol is receiving £11.4 million of this "to transform cycling by creating dedicated cycle lanes, better facilities and more training for children."
Thanks to http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/bristol/7462791.stm for that.
