Sustainable Transport 2

So what makes transport 'sustainable' ?
Is any form of transport with an engine really sustainable ?

How about walking ? cycling ? train ?

Which are more sustainable - can you have degrees of sustainability ?

    BRENT= just a sujestion but y not make all busses run off biodeisal as it does harm the environment???

    Take a little longer to check the spelling and meaning of your posts...
    Are you saying biodiesel does or doesn't harm the environment ?
    There are some real issues with this type of fuel, although the UK could become a leading producer.
