Exam tomorrow...

Do a few last minute bits of revision tonight
Get a good night's sleep - don't stay up late
Don't forget to bring your equipment with you tomorrow
Set the alarm clock before you go to bed
Eat breakfast !

So don't forget: DGDSE....

And don't forget FUGIS either....

Good luck to all KES students, and good luck to all Kirk Hallam students !!

Thank you for the reminder of FUGIS. What parts of the Pre-released booklet do you suggest i really focus on going over tonight, or should i go over everything just as thoroughly? Also how much would the use of key words benefit the amounts of marks i get in the exam, are they something i should really try and use a lot of to get as many marks as possible?

Many thanks,

Rebecca.

Make sure that you have read the interviews and details on the factories and be prepared to talk about the uneven development which has given rise to different working conditions.
Make sure you can talk about the Future for extreme environments, and whether they can be used sustainably.

Remember we have a lesson period 4 tomorrow - good timing ! We can blitz some last minute stuff and then have an early lunch !

Thank you for your advice.

There is a programme on BBC1 tonight on Panorama which i am going to watch which looks at the life of children working in India making clothes etc for Primark. It is very similar to the one which we watched in class about the pupils who travelled to India to find a FairTrade school uniform. I think it would be very beneficial for the exam, so i suggest people take a look!

Well spotted, and that is indeed a good idea - although my wife will be watching Big Brother ;)
If you do watch it, and a question comes up, perhaps worth a mention: "a recent BBC Panorama programme on Primark said...."

Nice idea Rebecca !

Thats ok, Big Brother is on after the Panorama programme so you will both get to watch what you want!

Oh, and thanks for that idea i'm sure it will come in very handy :)

But then you've got "Big Brother's Big Mouth" and I'll probably be asleep by then anyway...

Tony has added a new powerpoint for us to blitz through tomorrow...
